Pssst…! Wanna know a secret?

How about the secret of the fours and tens?

Most crapshooters don’t know how to play these bets, and when they do, they don’t know when to bet and when to avoid betting.

Wanna know the secrets that craps pros use to make money when they are good and when they are weak?

Let’s find out!

Crapshooters know the four and ten bet are the hardest to make, since the come out numbers have a lot of numbers in them. When you play these bets, you must get the shooter to place a seven (a minimum) or an eleven (a maximum) on the come out roll, which is very difficult to do. Therefore, the house only takes a small advantage when you make these bets. In fact, the house advantage when you make these bets is only a 1.36% edge, compared to a 27.6% advantage the casino has.

Wanna know how craps pros profit from these bets?

Let’s find out!

When you are good, you can make these bets for a living. If you can learn to bet on the come out roll and when to bet against the roll, you can make bets for a living.

One of the worst things you can do is just not bet when it is the right time. Frequently, the shooters will hold the dice for ten or eleven rolls. When this happens, you have to wait for a long time to get a point number to bet, and the camper (the person rolling the dice) will not make his point number until the very last roll of the dice.

If you wait for the shooter to get a point number, you will not win, however, you will get paid at the even money rate. The reason for this is that the seven (or the eleven) rolls three times more often than a point number. Therefore, if you bet $5 on the four while the shooter holds the dice for nine rolls or less, and sevens don’t appear on the four or ten roll, you will win $5. Keep in mind, however, that you must get a seven or an eleven to make a pass line bet, so be sure the shooter rolls the number before you make your bet.

Another advantage of betting against the roll is that you can take your chances on either a seven or eleven when the shooter makes a point number. If the shooter rolls a seven before rolling the eleven, you only lose half of your bet, instead of the whole thing. If the shooter rolling a eleven rolls a seven before rolling the point, you only lose the odds.

Be sure you bet only the amount you are willing to lose, and when you lose, only continue betting until your bet (and your stack) is back up to even. For example, if you have $100, bet $12 on the four and the nine, and the shooter hits the four, you only lose $5. However, if the shooter rolls a seven before rolling the eleven, you lose the $5 you bet on the four and the nine. Therefore, if you hit any three numbers, you will make $5 profit if the seven rolls and lose nothing if the eleven rolls.

Next, it is important to wait for a seven before you make your bets. This is the key to playing the four and nine bets. If the shooter rolls a seven before rolling the four or nine, you will always make $5 bets. However, if the shooter rolls a eleven, you will lose your $12 bet and the $10 you bet on the nine.

The seven and eleven give you a high payoff if you are good enough to get a point. However, if the shooter rolls a seven before rolling the point, you will lose your bet. This is the payoff for the four and nine. Remember that the four and nine are the hardest bets to make, therefore, you need the best odds to win.

The eleven gives you the best odds, however, the twelve pays out the most, even though it is twice as hard to make. If you are uncertain how to bet, do not bet on this number. Always bet on the nine unless the shooter is rolling a point. In that case, you might want to stay on the four.

One way to stay away from the hot numbers is to play something that is easy to win, like Craps, which has a low house advantage. Another way is to play something that is difficult to win, like Dewapoker, and less likely to bust the house. However, European games, like Roulette, have a lower house advantage than American games and have a lower house advantage than Caribbean Stud Poker.

Stay away from the sucker bets.
